Was the Oceanport town-wide yard sale a success?

I guess that depends on who you ask. If you ask Linda who scored a mint bamboo chair on Branchport Avenue for $5 or Taylor who rode away in a like-new purple bike, then yes, yes it was.

Despite weather that couldn't make up its mind Saturday, Oceanports opened up their garage doors and let their wares spill out for all the neighbors this weekend.

We ran into lots of neighbors picking up board games and sporting equipment around town, but perhaps none more successful than Marc from Bradley Avenue, who walked away with the XBox game, Rock Band, and two instruments for $30. Not to mention the croquet set and the soccer net. Well played, my friend, well played.
