Vic Lashley or Coach Lash is the owner and Head Coach of ICAT Boxing, Fitness & Martial Arts in Ocean Township New Jersey.

As a young boy, he was a natural athlete that excelled at a variety of sports, including boxing, karate, basketball and, tennis.  Unfortunately, it was from fighting in the different villages in Asbury Park that I developed the beginnings of my fighting skill.  It was because of his small stature that whenever visiting different housing complexes, he would be prompted to brawl.  He learned techniques, which developed into street fighting skills that bullies in Asbury Park came to respect.

Vic's official training began at the Monmouth Boy's Club under the tutelage of Mr. Bernard Butts within the Boy's Club's undefeated Drill Team whose trophies adorn the recreational area to this day. There he learned that dedication and practice makes perfect (1968-1971).  Victor's official Pugilistic training began with Mr. Michael Murphy also a boy's club coach 1971-1972.

Since then he has studied with the following Masters, Coaches, and Friends:
