  I have to believe the results would be different if the mayors house was still without power Broken power pole fifty feet from his house, lines still in the road in front of it, yet power is on.

  Utterly unacceptable on the part of our elected government. Their first duty and obligation is to protect the population of Little Silver. No power in sub freezing weather is a safety issue they have not answered. They have blithely accepted the lies JCPL have given them without further effort. Does anyone truly believe that the "everyone by Wednesday" promise would have been kept if the noreaster hadn't arrived? I have no faith in the timelines stated above (although thank you Amy for gettinG them). After nearly two weeks, there is no political reason for power to still be out in Little Silver except for a failure of government
