Lisa Smoltino is a freelance writer and lifelong student, both figuratively and literally.  A true explorer, Lisa tried almost every college in NJ before settling on the one and only Rutgers University, where she has studied languages, history and writing. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Library and Information Sciences.

A nomad at heart, Lisa currently resides in Shrewsbury, NJ and loves to write about all things local.
