I am the Founder and President of The Kortney Rose Foundation which I began in 2006 after the death of my 9 year old daughter Kortney from a rare brain tumor. Since then our foundation has worked diligently to raise awareness to the fact that brain tumors are the #1 solid cancer cause of death in children 20 and under. We have also donated over $600,000 in the past 6 years to brain tumor research at the #1 children's hospital in the country, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

I also work full time as a secretary in the Department of Political Science and Sociology at Monmouth University.

My husband is a letter carrier and we have one daughter who is in college.
