May 6 - A Criminal Mischief report was taken after a vehicle that was parked in the rear of Borough Hall had its front windshield damaged. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated. The resident made payment in the amount of $375 before the service was rendered. The company kept the money and never returned to complete the job. P.O. Amanda Arnold investigated. Charges at time of arrest should not be made public until a person actually goes to court and is found guilty of the alleged crimes. At the time of arrest charges are extremely exaggerated and in some cases incorrect. With many of these cases, once heard in court the majority of charges are dropped.
