5 DWI Arrests in Little Silver Last Month

The incidents were part of the Little Silver Police Department's blotter for March.

Little Silver Police report the following incidents in March: March 1- A resident from Sunnylands Ct. reported Harassment after receiving several unwanted phone calls by a known acquaintance. P.O. Peter Gibson investigated. March 5- Patrick Adams, 51, of Oceanport, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for Driving While Intoxicated. P.O. Eric Van Schaack made the arrest. March 6- A resident from Seven Bridges Rd. reported a Burglary after discovering that an unknown subject(s) smashed a window out to his vehicle during the early morning hours and rummaged through his personal belongings that were inside. Kings Road Resident Reports Harrassment, Police Say

The Feb. 23 incident was listed among calls in the Little Silver Police Blotter last month.

The following appears on the Little Silver Police Blotter in February: February 1- A Theft was reported from a location on Ridge Rd. after the victim discovered that her wallet had been stolen from her pocketbook. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated. February 5- A Credit Card Fraud was reported by a victim on Prospect Ave. after a customer discovered fraudulent purchases made on their account. P.O. Amanda Arnold and Det. Greg Oliva investigated. February 8- A male juvenile, 15, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following an investigation on Ridge Rd. for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. P.O. Little Silver Businesses Report Fraud, Harassment

The Little Silver Police Department police blotter included arrests for theft, possession of fraudulent drivers license and DWI.

January 1- A resident from Sherwood Rd. reported Credit Card Fraud when they discovered that an unknown subject was making unauthorized purchases on his credit card. P.O. Eric Van Schaack and Det. Greg Oliva investigated. January 3- Mark Drzewiecki, 18, of Shrewsbury, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for Possession of a Fraudulent Drivers License. P.O. The following information was provided by the Little Silver Police Department.

November 1- A resident reported Terroristic Threats following a verbal dispute about juveniles trespassing on another’s property on Birch Ave. P.O. Amanda Arnold and Sgt. Martin Scherzinger investigated. November 2- Christopher Vega, 21, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a suspicious person complaint on Silverside Ave. for a Contempt of Court warrant out of the New Brunswick Municipal Court. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest. November 3- A resident from Little Silver Point Road reported Theft after discovering that an unknown subject siphoned gas from his vehicle during the evening hours. S.O. John McGuire investigated. LS Police Blotter: Reports of Burglary, Identity Theft and DWI

The following is a list of incidents in the borough reported for the month of October provided by the Little Silver Police Department.

October 1- A resident from Woodbine Ave. reported Identity Theft when she received a phone call from an unknown female. The female asked the victim if she needed any home improvements done. When the victim replied no, the unknown female told the victim that she has the victim’s birth date and social security number and dictated it back to her. P.O. Peter Gibson investigated. October 2- A student at Red Bank Regional High School reported a Theft when his wallet and watch were stolen from his back pack sometime during the day. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated. Arrest records released by the Little Silver Police Department on Aug. 16: July 3- Robert Meyer, 26, of Red Bank was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on a Contempt of Court warrant out of the Tinton Falls Municipal Court. Little Silver police report the following arrests and investigations: June 12 - An employee of the Citgo gas station on Branch Avenue reported a Theft of Service after a motorist received gas and fled the station without paying.
