Rumson, Red Bank Men Among 25 Arrested in Child Porn Sting

Two local men are accused of possession and distribution of child pornography, Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa announced Wednesday. Christopher Brondi, 57, Rumson, was among 25 people arrested as part of an operation aimed at child pornography, including child rape videos. The list of the accused included two other Monmouth men: Manuel Sanchez-Olivarez, 37, of Red Bank and Steven Anan, 52, of Neptune City. Dozens of law enforcement agencies and more than 50 officers took part in the effort, dubbed Operation Ever Vigilant. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and the West Long Branch Police Department contributed to the effort, according to a press release issued by the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General (OAG). Manalapan Woman Receives 30-Year Prison Term for Child Pornography, Sexual Assault

The woman admitted to sexually abusing the girl multiple times and streaming the assault over the internet.

A Manalapan woman was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing a 5-year-old girl and streaming the assault over the internet, New Jersey U.S. District Attorney Paul J. Fishman and Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division announced Tuesday. Jennifer Mahoney, 33, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Mary L. Cooper to sexual exploitation of a child and Cooper imposed Mahoney’s sentence in Trenton Federal Court. Mahoney admitted to sexually assaulting the 5-year-old girl and steaming the assault via Skype, which is a video-chatting service.
