Horseback Riding For Adult Beginners Now At Sunnyside Equestrian Center
Long known for its therapeutic programs, the Middletown facility is now offering more opportunities for non-disabled adults and seniors.
This winter the Monmouth County Park System is offering several programs at its Sunnyside Equestrian Center, Middletown-Lincroft Road, Lincroft, including a new addition: a beginner class for adults. Beginner Adult Horseback Riding on Fridays, Feb. 22-April 12, 3:30-5 pm. Students will learn basic riding skills with a focus on safety, balance and control. Non-mounted horse handling skills will be taught throughout the session. Participants should be confident mounting independently and riding off lead at the walk. The cost is $534 per person.
