Red Bank Catholic's dream season is over. Despite steamrolling Shore Conference competition en route to a 10-0 record, the Casey's are home without a berth in the NJSIAA Non-Public Group 3 final after being dominated Saturday by St. Joseph Regional of Montvale, 42-7. Why don't we give everyone a trophy and call it a day. Allowing teams with records under .500 to qualify for play-offs simply indicates the standards are too low. I understand why professional sports expand the post season . . . money. But why do this at the High School level?   more ›
