Man Charged with Attempted Murder in Bed Bath & Beyond Stabbing (UPDATE)
Authorities say the victim did not know 19-year old Tyrik Haynes, who was charged with stabbing her.
Update, 1 p.m.: This story was updated with additional information from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. --- JERSEY SHORE -- A Keansburg woman was pushing a child in a stroller as she shopped in the Middletown Bed Bath & Beyond when she was stabbed 12 times, according to authorities. The victim did not know 19-year-old Tyrik S. Haynes, the Middletown man accused of trying to kill her Thursday afternoon, Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO) spokesperson Charles Webster said. Middletown police received multiple 911 calls reporting the incident around 4:09 p.m. on Thursday. The 29-year-old victim was identified by CBS News as Kerri Dalton. Reds, I agree with you. There are many available jobs but the people on welfare and collecting unemployment DON'T want to work. They actually get more handed to them that way. They will get reduced housing, food stamps and utility assistance. WHY WORK - they say. The difference here is middle income and high income people have to work to support their lifestyle.
