Shore Regional Continues The Fight Against Bullying
Rachel's Challenge to be presented at high school on Nov. 29 and Nov. 30
Shore Regional, in conjunction with the West Long Branch Police Department, will host presentations of “Rachel’s Challenge” on Nov. 29 and 30 in the school's auditorium. Students from the region's grammar, middle and high schools, as well as students from St. Jerome's school in West Long Branch, will learn how to help maintain a safe learning environment for all students by stopping school violent and bullying. Parents from throughout the region will have the opportunity to attend an evening presentation of the program on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. Rachel Scott was the first person killed at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999, and the program features a video of her life and the Columbine tragedy that is designed to teach students …
