Accused Bon Jovi Burglar Pleads Guilty

Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor says Nicholas Tracy stole more than $300,000 worth of jewelry and other items from Bon Jovi's Navesink River Road home as well as others

  A man pleaded guilty today to committing a string of residential burglaries at the home of rocker Bon Jovi, among others in the Navesink section of Middletown, that resulted in the loss of more than $300,000 in jewelry and other personal items, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced. Nicholas Tracy, 22, of Beachwood, appeared before the Honorable Ronald L. Reisner, J.S.C. and entered pleas of guilty to charges related to each burglary. Specifically, Tracy pleaded guilty to three counts of theft, each graded as second-degree crimes, and a count of burglary, a third-degree crime. Under the terms of the plea agreement, the defendant is to be sentenced to five years imprisonment in New Jersey State Prison. …

Bon Jovi Not Dead

Rampant internet speculation that the Red Bank rocker died of a heart attack is false.

Jon Bon Jovi is alive and well, at least if you're willing to believe photographic evidence and not reports from an anonymous blog andoverreaction from all of the twitterverse. Early Monday a blog reported that Bon Jovi went into cardiac arrest and died at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. This, apparently, was not the case as a still breathing Bon Jovi had enough left in him to make an appearance at the Count Basie Theatre for a holiday benefit show. Prior to his performance, Bon Jovi was photographed holding a piece of paper dated Dec. 19, 2011 6:00 p.m. that read "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey." Bon Jovi on Hand to Open Soul Kitchen [VIDEO]

The internationally famous rock star opens a pay-what-you-can restaurant on Monmouth Street in Red Bank.

The idea is simple, pay what you can. If you don't have the money, pay it forward. At the JBJ Soul Kitchen, it's all about doing what you can. Those who attend the Red Bank restaurant located in a converted garage on Monmouth Street are invited to enjoy a great meal comprised of local ingredients prepared by chefs and in exchange, the restaurant asks only that you pay what you can or work it off by volunteering at the restaurant or any number of local charitable organizations, like Lunch Break.
