September Events in Monmouth County

A map of fairs, festivals and activities to help you plan your Monmouth County weekend.

Labor Day may have come and gone but September weather promises plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun. Here’s a list of Monmouth County events scheduled for the final two weekends in September, according to a press release from the the county Department of Public Information and Tourism:

-Sept. 21: The Ocean Grove British Car Show takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Avenue.

-Sept. 21: The Asbury Park Classic Car Show will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on West Lake Avenue.

-Sept. 21: Open Space Pace starts with a parade of horses down Main Street in Freehold at 10:30 a.m. and continues to Freehold Raceway. There will be races, demonstrations, food, exhibits, family activities and music. The event will be capped an outdoor concert and a fireworks display.  

-Sept. 22: Red Bank’s famous Oyster Festival runs from noon to 7 p.m. at the White Street Parking Lot. A rain date is set for Sept. 29.

-Sept. 28: The Micro-Brew on the Pier at Belmar Marina takes place from noon to 4 p.m.

-Sept. 28: Historic Allaire Village's 1830s Fall Harvest Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

-Sept. 29: The Harvest Home Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Historic Longstreet Farm in Holmdel.
