Markham Cares, Heroin Discussion at Shore

The Little Silver Council and Oceanport Planning Board will also be meeting.

Two big events will be hosted by schools in the Little Silver-Oceanport area this week.

Shore Regional High is hosting a discussion by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Officer on the recent spike in heroin related deaths in the area. Click here to read more about it.

Markham Place School will be hosting Markham CARES Day on Friday, Jan. 31.  Members of the community who have made a positive impact visit the school and inspire kids to give back. We'll have more information about this event later today.

The Little Silver Council will also be meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27 and the Oceanport Planning Board will be meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 28
