A special meeting will be held in Little Silver tonight to hear the public's feelings on whether or not a controversial traffic lights should remain in the borough.

Traffic lights were installed on Branch Avenue at Rumson Road and White Road when the county replaced the bridge near Point Road School on Seven Bridges Road.

The bridge was completed this summer, so the county now needs to make a decision, and Little Silver is going to help by holding a special meeting on Monday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Markham Place School cafetorium.

The Eatontown Planning Board will hold a public hearing on a potential change to the borough's master plan concerning the zoning of Old Orchard Country Club on Monday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The outcome could pave the way for a developer to present a new project for the site.

We'll be there tonight to cover the meeting and let you know what happens.
