Barbecue at Monmouth Park, Back To School Preparations
The annual Barbecue and Craft Beer Festival will be held at Monmouth Park from Aug. 31 - Sept. 1.

The week before Labor Day is a quiet one in Little Silver and Oceanport, but the summer season will end in style at Monmouth Park.
A Barbecue and Craft Beer Festival will be held at Monmouth Park on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 from noon to 4 p.m.
Other than the obvious attractions to the event, there will also be music and horse racing.
We'll have a full preview of the event later this week.
We've covered some back to school stories in the past few weeks and our coverage will continue this week as children get ready to put their backpacks on and head to their classrooms.
We'll check in with the Oceanport School District to see if any changes have been made for this year and get a look at the newest construction at Point Road School in Little Silver.
