Oceanport Cares Distributing Mattresses To Local Families Affected by Sandy

The mattresses are being donated by Sleep Innovations.

Oceanport Cares has partnered with Sleep Innovations, Inc. to distribute mattresses to local families affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Sleep Innovations donated 116 memory foam mattresses to Oceanport Cares, a group which provides relief to those still suffering from the effects of the hurricane, according to a story on The Fort Mill Times.

The mattresses will be given to needy families in Oceanport and its surrounding towns.

"Oceanport Cares has helped deliver nearly 60 Sleep Innovations mattresses to these families and plans to distribute the remaining mattresses over the coming weeks," the article states. "Sleep Innovations has also donated mattresses to members of the local community."

According to the article, Oceanport Cares formed after Hurricane Sandy to help with relief efforts in the borough.
