Baykeeper Seeks Volunteers for Oystering Project

People needed to count oysters at Moby's Restaurant in Highlands on Sept. 30.

A message from the NY/NJ Baykeeper, based in Keyport:

Hopefully you have heard the wonderful news that  waters! We are now working on final logistics with the Navy and NJDEP and the juvenile oysters are scheduled to go into the water the first week in October.

Thanks to all our volunteers we were able to finish counting very quickly! We only have 1 more day left of work counting oysters down at Mobys. The last day is Friday, Sept. 30, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
