LAST CALL LITTLE SILVER REC REGISTRATION

Only four days left to register for Little Silver Rec lacrosse, Two River Little League baseball and softball. After January 31, there is a $50 late fee and no guaranty of a roster spot since some age groups will immediately close out. For the fourth straight year, registration fees remain the same with no increase.

New for this spring, both the rec baseball and softball program will join forces with the towns of Fair Haven, Rumson, Shrewsbury and Red Bank to form The Two River Little League (TRLL). Competition will extend beyond the Peninsula to include surrounding Little Leagues. TRLL will be adding two new divisions for older boys. The Intermediate U13 division will introduce the exciting 50/70 format with a 50'pitching distance and 70' distance bases. This league for 13 year olds is played on an extended Little League size field and is designed to transition the boys to the larger professional size field. For the first time ever, TRLL will also be extending the Major division to high school students in 9th and 10th grades who will join 8th graders in this division.
