Sunday's Olympic TV Schedule

Swimming is done, Track & Field kicks into high gear

After a jam-packed Saturday where 25 gold medals were awarded, the London 2012 Olympic games look toward a Sunday crammed with Track & Field events. Also of note is the gold medal match in men's individual tennis, featuring favorite Roger Federer. There's also a ton of fencing today, along with sailing, water polo and wrestling.

For the full schedule of events, see the London 2012 official site. As always the NBC Olympic site will be streaming all events live as they happen and the NBC networks will carry various portions.

 

12:30A - 1:30A NBC Late Night 

Finals in the women's discus, plus events in track Cycling.

1:30A - 5:00A NBC PT Repeat

Swimming concludes with four finals, including the men's and women's medley relays. Plus the women's 100m dash, the women's springboard semifinal in Diving and Beach Volleyball.

 

6:00A - 9:00A Track & Field

A Kenyan has medaled in this event in each of the last two Games, but none has won gold. That could change with Edna Kiplagat or Mary Keitany.

 

9:00A - 11:30A Tennis

The men's singles Tennis gold-medal match.

11:30A - 1:30P Women's Basketball: CHN vs. USA

The U.S. women's basketball team squares off against China in a preliminary-round game.

1:30P - 2:00P Equestrian

Round one of the team jumping final to take place at Greenwich Park.

2:00P - 3:00P Women's Water Polo

A quarterfinal-round match in women's Water Polo.

3:00P - 4:30P Women's Volleyball: USA vs. TUR

The U.S. women's Volleyball team plays Turkey in a qualifier.

4:30P - 5:00P Cycling

The final in women's track Cycling.

5:00P - 6:00P Beach Volleyball

A Beach Volleyball quarterfinal.

7:00P - 12:00A (8/6) NBC Primetime

Track & Field's centerpiece event -- the men's 100m dash, plus apparatus finals in Gymnastics, the women's springboard final in Diving, and a Beach Volleyball matchup.
