Touchdown! LS Rec Offers Flag for Kids on Sundays

Little Silver kids (and parents) not willing to commit to the practice and travel schedule of the AYF football league can still get their weekly pigskin fix.

For the second year, Little Silver Recreation is offering a free flag football program each Sunday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Boro Field (behind the public library) for children in second through fourth grades. The program started Sept. 16 and will run through November, or pretty much as long as the weather holds up.

Games are pick up format with no registration required and all kids need to bring is a water bottle and to be ready for some football.
