Concussion-ridden Red Bank battled mightily, but fell to Frozen Roses 4-2.

(6-5-1, 4-1-1 Shore "D") put up a good fight but was unable to stop the division-leading St. Rose Frozen Roses (14-2-0, 7-2-0 Shore "D") who defeated them 4-2 when the two teams clashed on the ice at Jersey Shore Arena in Wall Friday evening.

Pat McKerry scored for St. Rose near the end of the first, and Christian Phipps made it 2-0 less than a minute into the second. Red Bank answered with goals from Joe Franco (12) and Jack Lynch (2) to tie the game 2-2, but the Bucs ran out of gas in the third, as Billy Regan fired one past Bucs netminder Charlie Fox, and McKerry scored into an empty net.

Red Bank also played Saturday, defeating Freehold Boro (4-6-0, 3-3-0 Shore "C") by a score of 4-2.
