UPDATE: Meet Oceanport's 8 BOE Candidates Wednesday Night

The event will be held on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m at Maple Place School.

Confused about who you're voting for the fill the Oceanport Board of Education seats up for grab this November?

The district will hold a Meet the Candidates Night on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Maple Place School for voters to get to know the nine people vying for the four available seats.

Of the petitions filed for three, three-year seats and one, one-year seat, two were members currently serving on the school board.

Spencer W. Carpenter was the only candidate to file an application for the single one-year term on the ballot. Incumbent Joan Osgoodby-Latacz will be among the seven candidates running for the three-year seats.
