Shore Regional Alum Presents Students With Scholarships

Four seniors presented with scholarships

Shore Regional alumni Wayne Reisner was back in the area last week to present a check to the 2012 winners of the Wayne Reisner Scholarship. Reisner started the scholarship program 12 years ago.

Shore Regional seniors Heidi Schaffner, RJ Bohnert, Caitlin Chapski and Christina Kapalko were the winners of this year's scholarship and each will receive $6,000 over the next four years.

Schaffner will be attending CW Post in the fall, Bohnert is off to Westchester University while Chapski will attend Rutgers and Kapalko will be at Franklin Marshall.

Also joining this year's winners were the recipients of the Reisner Scholarship from 2009, Jessica Gruskos, 2010 Victoria Slater, and 2011 Courtney Delehanty, Kristen Kuhlthau, Andrea Adams and Jeni Juliano.

The scholarship is spread over each student’s 4 year college career career and checks are presented each year through the Shore Regional Educational Foundation.

Reisner stays in touch with each student and keeps track of their progress in school. Winners are chosen based on academic and athletic achievement, community service as well as an essay and interview.

Position the design on the bib and through the hole mark horizontal and vertical axis points onto the bib. Remove the design and use the ruler and air-erase pen to connect the horizontal and vertical axis points. Thanks for sharing.
