Seat Open on Little Silver Board of Ed
Interested candidates can send a letter of intent to the board's president.
If you've been toying with vying for a seat on the Little Silver Board of Education, now's the time to throw your hat into the ring.
The accepted the resgination of member Arthur (Terry) Adamson at its June 28 meeting. Adamson, who was elected to the board in April 2011, still has two years left of his term. His resignation was effective June 30.
Interested candidates can submit a letter of intent to Little Silver Board of Education President Kevin Brennan at the board office at 124 Willow Drive. Brennan said candidate interviews will be held at the end of the month.

The candidate appointed by the Board now will serve from August until December. The two-year seat will be up for election this November 2012, with whomever wins serving January 2013 thru December 201
