Red Bank Catholic Graduation [Gallery]

It was a night of celebration and reflection on Wednesday for 247 seniors graduating from Red Bank Catholic in a commencement ceremony at Monmouth University in West Long Branch.

Valedictorian Angelica Cangemi spoke in equal measure during her address about the times she's shared with her classmates, the relationships they've forged and memories they've made. But, she stressed, high school isn't the finish line. She urged her fellow students to fight for success and to be that small percentage of the population that will make a difference in this world.

Casey Principal Robert Abatemarco praised the graduating class, calling attention to the scholastic achievements of 151 graduating seniors who have earned nearly $15 million in scholarship funding. He also reminded the students to cherish the time they spent in Red Bank Catholic, warning them that when they wake up the following morning they'll realize for the first time that life as a high school student is over.
