RBR's Sickels Verbally Commits to Penn State

The junior defensive end had received over two dozen scholarship offers

A weekend visit to Penn State's main campus sealed the deal forjunior Garrett Sickels, who made a verbal commitment on Sunday to play for the Nittany Lions football team in 2013, according to Centre Daily Times.

The defensive end, who lives in Red Bank, received nearly two dozen scholarship offers to play football, including Notre Dame, Stanford and Nebraska, according to the article.

Sickels, who totaled more than 19 sacks in his last season, is the son of Donna and Stanley Sickels, who is Red Bank's business administrator.
