'Dancing With the Stars' Waltzes Away With $61K for Little Silver Technology

The Education Foundation of Little Silver's fundraiser raised money in support of the school district's technology initiative.

The white pants and sequins have been tucked away, but the memory of Little Silver's "Dancing With the Stars" event and its $61,000 legacy will last at least another year.

"The funds raised will be used to put technology directly in the hands of Little Silver students," said EFLS President Lori Stratford.

She said the EFLS was "thrilled" with the results of the March 8 event -- held at the Shadowbrook -- which had the "full support of the community."
