Little Silver Public Schools Get Snow Days Back

A letter from the Superintendent of Schools announced changes to the Little Silver Public School Calendar.

Students of the Little Silver Public Schools received good news from the Superintendent of Schools.

In a letter sent out on Friday, April 20 from Carolyn M. Kossack, Superintendent of Schools, parents learned that due to the unusually warm weather students will be getting their snow days back.

Kossack’s letter reads, “The yearly calendar adopted by the Board of Education has 182 days of school for students. This calendar affords us two snow days. Given our extremely mild winter we did not use either.”

The letter further explained that the originally scheduled snow days will result in a day off on Friday, May 25, which will give students a four day Memorial Day weekend. The other snow day will be taken off from the final days of the school year.

The last day of school for Little Silver Public Schools will now be Thursday, June 14. The complete letter from Kossack can be seen by clicking here
