POLL: Little Silver Passes Full-Day Kindergarten
A little over 1,100 residents voted in Tuesday's referendum. Do you agree with their decision?
residents approved a referendum on Tuesday to bring beginning with the 2013-2014 school year.
Of the 1,089 residents that came out to the polls, 615 voted in favor of the referendum to build two new classrooms at and 474 voted against the initiative, according to Business Administrator Amy Lerner.
She said the district received 13 absentee ballots in favor of the referendum and 16 ballots opposed.

A "handful" of provisional ballots were also submitted, said Lerner, but needed to be sent to Freehold to have residencies verified.
"It wasn't resounding," said Board President Kevin Brennan on the fairly close race, "but it certainly ended with the right result."
