Titanic, "A Night To Remember"
Our gala fund raising commemorative event will be held in the MAC at Monmouth University. Surrounding the main event are a number of smaller events designed to focus on the maritime history of the area, to celebrate exploration and discovery, and to commemorate the 100th anniversary of this historic event.
This gala fund-raiser will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 6 PM to 11 PM. This is a black-tie optional affair. All seats are $150 and have been upgrade to First Class (group seating of more than four persons requires an additional $50). Attendees should expect a much more intimate and personalize experience, especially given the proximity of the dining table to the speakers & presenters as well as to each other.
It will be as if we are all guests on RMS TITANIC that night... and today. We will hear little-known facts about Titanic that offer a new view of the disaster. We will relive specific moments in her history in the space that those historic events took place. We will hear accounts from speakers who can enable the imaginations of the Gala attendees to virtually be there as we dive to the most famous shipwreck in history. The evening will be both transformational and transcending.
