Tuesday's snow has caused officials at the Little Silver School District and Red Bank Regional to call for early dismissals.
Red Bank Regional students will be dismissed at noon and all after-school activities and sports have also been cancelled.
The Point Road School will be dismissed at 12:25 p.m. and Markham Place School would be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
"Busses will be running but please expect delays," Little Silver School District Superintendent Carolyn Kossack said. "Crossing guards will be on duty. This dismissal time allows us to count this as a legal school day. Unlike a planned early closing, lunches will be served."
All after-school activities, including aftercare, at the Little Silver School District have been cancelled and the Markham Place concert scheduled for tonight has also been postponed to Wednesday, Dec. 18.
