Three Towns Showcase their Junior Musicians in RBR Inter-district Band Festival

RBR was delighted to recently host the Inter-district Band Festival to showcase the many musical opportunities available to upcoming high school students in RBR's sending towns.

The middle school musicians from the three sending towns of (RBR) had the opportunity to perform on the big stage in the RBR auditorium at the Inter-District Band Festival held at RBR on Wednesday, January 18th.

Students from Red Bank Middle School, Shrewsbury Borough and in Little Silver performed several pieces in the Inter-district concert and joined their big brothers and sisters for a stirring finale of America the Beautiful. RBR’s marching band, percussion ensemble, clarinet quartet and concert band performed pieces between the middle schoolers’ program.

RBR’s Visual and Performing Arts  Academy’s Band Director Kerry McNulty stated, “We are blessed to have such a wonderful music program in this beautiful newly renovated auditorium and are delighted to showcase that for our upcoming high school students. We were also so impressed and encouraged by the wonderful middle school talent which bodes well for the future of the RBR program. We truly hope that this experience encourages middle school students to continue their musical studies at Red Bank Regional High School.”
