RBR Photography Major Takes Second Place in National Contest

RBR Academy of Visual & Performing Arts photography major Maria Montgomery of Little Silver recently won 2nd place in photography in the national Antonelli Institute Art and Photo Contest.

Red Bank Regional (RBR) Academy of Visual & Performing Arts photography major Maria Montgomery recently won 2nd place in photography in the national Antonelli
Institute Art and Photo Contest. Maria, a sophomore from Little Silver, competed with hundreds of applicants representing 55 high schools from the Middle Eastern United States. Five awards were given in photography and four in art.  While Maria brought home her trophy, a plaque was also presented to RBR’s Dawn Lisko, Maria’s photography teacher as testament to the honor.

The Antonelli Institute was founded in 1938 in Philadelphia by renowned
international photographer and artist Severo Antonelli to prepare professional and military photographers in their craft. It is accredited by the Commission of Career
