The annual event kicked it up a notch this year with the inclusion of the Red Bank Regional High School Marching Band.

There were a few new wrinkles this year to one of the longest running shows in Little Silver: The annual Memorial Day parade.

Exhiliariating patriotic music provided by a house along Willow to usher in the beginning of the parade was quickly drowned out by the Marching Band's horns and drums in their first, and hopefully not last, appearance at the parade.

A long line of antique cars kicked off the morning, winding their way along Willow Avenue to Prospect, followed by waving town officials and lots of groups that help make up the town: scouts, the members from the Little Silver Volunteer Fire Dept. and Ladies Auxiliary and of course, a long line of fire trucks flashing their lights.
