Despite rumors that it would finally reopen Friday, the Oceanport Post Office remains closed.
"It's day-to-day right now," says Kim Jungfer, the borough's adminstrator.
While Jungfer had told Patch the building was "functionally ready," as of March 1 there were still no computer terminals installed in the facility.
In the interim, operations and staff had been relocated to the Eatontown USPS processing and distribution center on Industrial Way in Eatontown.
