Little Silver Talking Snow in July

A meeting Wednesday will air concerns on snow removal

A month after , Little Silver's Traffic and Safety Committee is looking for residents to come down to borough hall Wednesday to offer their comments and opinions about putting together a new snow removal plan that is "comprehensive, enforcable, fair and doable," said Police Chief Dan Shaffery in a release issued via Two River Alert on Monday. 

The ad hoc committee, which was chosen to review the ordinance, is soliciting ideas to address both individual homeowner concerns and the safety of pedestrians, and is requesting that any interested parties attend this Wednesday's meeting at 7 p.m. in the Ayers Room of .

"Only with the help and insight of all residents can a plan be developed for approval by the Borough Council," said the statement. "Please be a part of the planning process.  Please attend on July 13th."

No formal action will be taken at the meeting. The committee wants residents to share their thoughts so they can review the matter further and present their findings to the council for consideration.
