Little Silver, Oceanport Voters Donated More to Romney

How much did local residents donate to presidential campaigns? In Little Silver and Oceanport, more dollars went to Republican candidate Mitt Romney than President Barack Obama.

An interactive map compiled by NJ Spotlight released recently itemizes by ZIP Code where donations went. The site analyzed campaign contribution reports and the data is presented in a statewide map, here. You can scroll around by town and see how different areas donated.

For Little Silver (ZIP Code 07739), donors there gave more to Romney — over $10,000 more. However, there were more donors giving to Obama: 160 contributions were made to Obama and 72 were made to Romney.
