Little Silver Council To Discuss Property Acquisition, 2013 Road Program

The Little Silver Council will meet on Monday night, Aug. 5, and has some interesting items on its agenda.

The council will consider a resolution to acquire property by appropriating $20,000 for its purchase.

The council will also look to pass resolutions awarding a contract for the 2013 road program and authorizing the purchase of a police vehicle.

The Gerry Deverin Spirit Awards will also be presented at the meeting. Deverin was a Little Silver resident who died earlier this year.

The Little Silver Council workshop meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 8 p.m. at Little Silver Borough Hall, 480 Prospect Ave.
