Last Chance: Voter Registration Deadline Tuesday

Tuesday is the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 6 elections. 

Here's information on how to get on the rolls if you haven't yet registered: 

Register in person

All Monmouth County residents also can go directly to the county clerk's office at 33 Mechanic St., Freehold. For more information, call 732-431-7324.

Oceanport residents can pick up Voter Registration Applications and Vote by Mail Applications at the Borough Clerk's Office in 222 Monmouth Blvd. Those desiring information concerning registration, voting or vote by mail ballots should contact the Borough Clerk's office at Borough Hall at (732) 222-8221. Little Silver residents can pick up a registration form at Borough Hall, 480 Prospect Ave. For more information, call 732-842-2400.

Register by mail

Print and fill out a Voter Application Form found to the right. Mail the form to:

Freehold, NJ 07728-9912

The state makes it easy — the application form can be mailed for free by following the folding and taping instructions, but must be postmarked at least 21 days prior to the election.

College students

College students are permitted to vote from their college address or their parents’ homes. They must file a new application if they’re not already registered where they choose to vote.
