UPDATE: Rumson Road Closure Thursday Night
Little Silver Police say traffic will be detoured for emergency repairs.
For those of you not signed up to receive Two River Alert messages (and really, by now shouldn't we all be on board?), Little Silver Police Chief Daniel Shaffery issued an alert Wednesday afternoon that a portion of Rumson would be closed overnight on Thursday for emergency repairs.
Traffic driving on the eastbound portion of the road will be detoured down Markham Place starting at 11 p.m. on Sept. 21 through 7:30 Friday morning.
*Editor's Note: An earlier version of this article misstated that Branch Avenue would close for work. It is a portion of Rumson Road that will be closed.
