Severe Weather Predicted for Remainder of Tuesday

A severe thunderstorm warning, flood warning, and hazardous weather outlook issued for area.

Monmouth County residents are expected to receive severe thunderstorms with a strong possibility of flash flooding Tuesday afternoon and evening.

At approximately 1 p.m., The National Weather Service (NWS) issued three alerts for area residents including a severe thunderstorm warning, flood warning and hazardous weather outlook.

According to the alerts, there is a possibility of hail and damaging winds along with rapid rainfall. The severe thunderstorm warning will remain in effect until 2:15 p.m.
