Police: Man Steals Credit Card From Vehicle in Little Silver, Goes on Spending Spree

The man allegedly broke into a vehicle owned by NJ Transit.

A Lawrence Harbor man has been arrested and charged with burglary and theft for stealing a credit card from a vehicle in Little Silver last year.

David Eisenman allegedly entered a 2008 Ford Escape, owned by NJ Transit, that was parked at 30 Edgewood Ave. on April 17 2012.

Police say Eisenman then made unauthorized purchases with the credit card at numerous locations totaling $2,209.

Eisenman was arrested on Oct. 14 and was lodged in Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. His initial court appearance is set for Nov. 7.
