Oceanport Police Blotter: Theft and Outstanding Warrants

The following arrest information was supplied by the Oceanport Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrest records released by the on March 12.

March 6: Cameron C. Zuidema, 24, of Long Branch was arrested and charged with theft from a residence on Burnt Mill Circle. According to the report, the subject was arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation of the Feb. 9 theft. Det. Jonathan Tucci was the arresting officer.

March 6: Anthony J. Derario, 56, of , was charged with theft of services following a complaint made by New Jersey Natural Gas. The utility company signed complaints against the homeowner after an investigation was conducted by their company. Sgt. Steven Tagerty and Det. Jonathan Tucci responded to the call.

March 8: Following a stop for a motor vehicle violation, James J. McGuire, Jr., 76, of Tinton Falls, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Howell Township. The subject was charged with contempt, failure to appear, and taken to police headquarters and released once he posted bail. Ptl. Gregory Lauretta was the arresting officer.

March 9: Following a stop for a motor vehicle violation, Juan R. Alequin, 3rd, of Long Branch, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Ocean Township. The subject was charged with contempt, failure to appear, and taken to police headquarters and released once he posted bail. Pt. Gregory Lauretta was the arresting officer.
