Oceanport Police Blotter: Aggravated Assault and DWI Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Oceanport Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

June 6: Detectives responded at 12:50 p.m. to a request for police at Racetrack for an odor of marijuana. After being confronted by racetrack officials, Shabearm Davis, 45, of Cherry Hill, turned over a plastic bag containing greenish/brown vegetation/buds indicative of marijuana. Ptl Lauretta issued a complaint summons to the subject and the plastic bag was turned over to detectives.

June 9: Patrols responded to Monmouth Park Racetrack, picnic area, for a report of a disorderly female subject at midnight. As Patrols spoke to Renee C. Laboy, 31 of Highlands, became irate and unruly. As patrols attempted to handcuff the subject, she began resisting arrest, injuring Sgt. Michael Chenoweth in the process. She was processed and transported to Monmouth County Correction Institute in default of bail.

June 8: Patrols responded at 3:36 p.m. to a Shrewsbury Avenue residence for a report of a burglary. Unknown actor(s) did enter the rear window of the residence and remove items. This matter is under investigation by the Oceanport Detective Bureau.

June 8: Patrols responded to a motor vehicle crash on Port Au Peck Avenue at 3:42 p.m. The driver involved in the crash, David C. Chachko, 56, of Oceanport, was placed under arrest for DWI and transported to Monmouth Medical Center.
