Oceanport Police Blotter: Burglary Reported at Foggia's, Drug Possession and Disorderly Conduct

Oceanport police report the following calls and arrests:

Saturday, June 23

, 196 Monmouth Blvd., reported a burglary at 8:43 a.m. The store manager said she came into the store that morning and observed several drawers to be open. She contacted the store's owner and it was determined someone entered the business unlawfully, police said. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing appeared to be taken from the business. This matter is under investigation by detective bureau. Detective Michael Fagliarone responded to the incident and was assisted by Sgt. Michael Kelly.

Police responded to a report of burglary at a Monmouth Boulevard residence at 3:29 p.m. The victim reported that gardening and landscaping equipment had been taken from his parents' trailer and truck. The resident said he noticed someone had entered the shed. This matter is under investigation by Oceanport's Detective Bureau. Sgt. Michael Kelly responded to the incident and was assisted by Detective Michael Fagliarone.

Randy Gibson, 45, of Long Branch was issued a summons for criminal trespassing. Patrols responded at 7:30 p.m. to a report of a subject trespassing at Monmouth Park. Track security advised patrol that Gibson was violating his permanent ejection from the property, police said. Patrols spoke with Gibson and after issuing him a summons, he was released and left the property. Ptl. Mickey Perrulli responded to the call.

Friday, July 6

Robert A. Hendrickson, 60, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Patrols responded to a report at 6:55 a.m. of a man lying in the grass next to his bicycle at Eatontown Boulevard and Massaro Street. As officers spoke to the man, he allegedly became "very agitated" and refused to cooperate with officers, police said. According to the report, Hendrickson was allegedly intoxicated and "began to yell profanities and cause a scene." The subject was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed and released to Monmouth Medical Center. Ptl. Jake Pascucci responded to the call.

Saturday, July 7

Mattison Carter, 19, Fair Haven was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams. According to police reports, Ptl. Jake Pascucci conducted a motor vehicle stop at noon on a vehicle driving on East Main Street and Oceanport Avenue. Further investigation resulted in Carter, who was the front seat passenger, being arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Carter was transported to police headquarters, processed and released pending a court hearing in Oceanport Municipal Court.
