Oceanport PD: Drunken Driving, Warrant Arrests, Speeding Enforcement Update

Police report end-of-summer incidents in the borough and results of speeding enforcement initiative week of Aug. 27-Sept. 3.

made a number of warrant arrests and reported two incidents of drunken driving in the last days of summer.

Aug. 28

  • Hannah J. Henderson 22, of Long Branch, was arrested for a warrant our of Oceanport. The subject was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed and released after posting cash bail, pending a court date in Oceanport Municipal Court.

Aug. 29

  • Luis a. Delgado, 32, Long Branch, was arrested for contempt/failure to appear warrant out of Oceanport as well as a couple of other jurisdictions. The subject was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed and released after posting cash bail, pending a court date in Oceanport Municipal Court.

Aug. 31

  • Kristina L. Hunt, 30, Red Bank, was stopped at 2:29 a.m. on Monmouth Boulevard and arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was transported to police headquarters, processed and released, pending a court date in Oceanport Municipal Court.
  • Gozie M. Emele, 24, Eatontown, was arrested on an active warrant out of Eatontown. The subject was placed under arrest, transported to police
    headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

Sept. 1

  • Allison McKnight, 42, Freehold, was stopped at 12:41 a.m. on Oceanport Avenue at Pemberton Avenue at charged with driving while intoxicated. She was transported to police headquarters, processed and released,
    pending a court date in Oceanport Municipal Court.

Speeding Enforcement Initiative:

Speeding Enforcement Stats for the week of August 27-September 3:

  • 55 Radar Enforcement Details (Number of times officer setup to run radar. Not number of stops)
  • 27 Summonses issued

These stats do not include routine traffic stops and the summons generated during those stops.
