The town, I am now convinced, has an omen. My brother retired from the PD a couple years ago and actually moved to another municipality several years earlier. One of the former chiefs said to me years ago (when I stated that it's a nice little easy place to work with few issues). Well, aside from the race track, "They all pass through Oceanport on their way to Hollywood."
