Little Silver Police Blotter: Criminal Mischief, Theft and Disorderly Conduct

The following arrest information was supplied by the Little Silver Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrest records released by the on June 7.

May 6 - A Criminal Mischief report was taken after a vehicle that was parked in the rear of Borough Hall had its front windshield damaged. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

May 12 - Two residences on Hance Road reported Criminal Mischief to their mailboxes.  Incident occurred during the evening hours. P.O. Amanda Arnold investigated.

May 13 - While on patrol, officers located Criminal Mischief to a mailbox which belonged to a Little Silver Point Road residence. P.O. Andrew Smith and P.O. Peter Giblin investigated.

May 13 - An Attempted Burglary was reported after officers responded to an alarm call to a business on Birch Avenue during the early morning hours. Entry was not gained. P.O. Peter Giblin, P.O. Andrew Smith and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

May 13 - A resident from Paag Lane reported a Theft of a paddle board and paddles from their private dock. P.O. Amanda Arnold investigated.

May 14 - A business on Oceanport Avenue reported a Theft after they had some mail stolen from their mailbox over the weekend. P.O. Robert Chenoweth and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

May 15 - A Burglary was reported to a Sycamore Avenue residence during the daytime hours. Nothing has been reported missing from the residence at this time. P.O. Eric Van Schaack and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

May 18- A resident from Ruddy Court reported a Theft when he discovered that an aluminum ladder had been stolen from his property. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr.

May 19- Adam Ceribelli, 21, Astoria, NY, and Joshua Dietz, 18, Moriches, NY, were arrested by P.O. Peter Gibson and charged with Possession of Marijuana under 50 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both subjects were released pending a court date. 

May 20- A Rumson Place resident reported Disorderly Conduct when a motorcyclist pulled over and urinated on his neighbor’s lawn. The resident confronted the motorcyclist at which time he got back on the motorcycle and fled the area prior to police arrival. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

May 21- A Burglary/Theft was reported to a Branch Avenue residence during the daytime hours. Sgt. Kevin Halpin, P.O. Frank Salerno and Det. Greg Oliva investigated.

May 25- A Silverside Avenue resident reported a Theft of a license plate off of his vehicle sometime during the early morning hours. P.O. Andrew Smith investigated.

May 26- A Queens Drive South resident reported a Theft of an item from her front porch that was left out for a friend to pick-up. The victim’s friend came over to get the item and it was gone P.O. Amanda Arnold investigated.
